Usagi Tsukino & Chibi-Usagi Tsukino
((Sailor Mooon))
Usagi-chan attends the same school as Ami and Makoto. She's a very poor student and a bit of a crybaby, but a loyal friend. Her family consists of Kenji (father), Ikuko (mother), and Shingo (brother). In the past (Silver Millennium), she was Princess Serenity (the Moon Princess), and she is destined to marry Endymion (Chiba Mamoru/Tuxedo Kamen) and become Neo-Queen Serenity in the future. Chibi-usa is her daughter.
((Chibi Moon))
The "pink-haired-rabbit" is the daughter of Usagi and Mamoru. She travels to the past from the future, and ends up staying and becoming a senshi. She fights constantly with Usagi, and sucks up to Mamo-chan.

Ami Mizuno
((Sailor Mercury))
Ami-chan is the most intelligent of the Senshi. She is more interested in her studies than anything else. She lives with her mother, who is a doctor, and doesn't have many friends outside of the other senshi. She attends school with Usagi and Makoto.

Rei Hino
((Sailor Mars))
Rei-chan lives at a temple with her grandfather, and is a priestess. Her mother is dead, and her father is a distant politician. She has two pet crows named Phobos and Deimos. Rei has a fiery temper, and often takes it out on Usagi. She attends the T.A. Girls' school.

Makoto Kino
((Sailor Jupiter))
Both of Mako-chan's parents are dead (killed in a plane crash), so she lives alone in an apartment. Her passions are cooking, plants, and housekeeping, and her dream is to be a bride. In contrast, she is one of the strongest of the senshi, and known for being a bully. She's also obsessed with her old senpai. She attends school with Ami and Usagi.

Minako Aino
((Sailor Venus))
Before becoming Sailor Venus, Minako was the crime-fighting Sailor V. She's like Usagi in that she's obsessed with meeting cute guys, and a rather poor student. She takes care of Artemis, the white cat. Sailor Venus is the leader of the Four Guardians (the senshi who protect the princess of the moon: Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, and Venus).

Setsuna Meiou & Hotaru Tomoe
((Sailor Pluto))
Sailor Pluto is the Guardian of Time. In the S season, she relinquishes this role for a time, to help the other senshi fight. Setsuna's dream is to be a seamstress, and her favorite class is physics. She's the oldest of the senshi. Pluto appears to be in love with Neo-King Endymion, but never interferes with his marriage to Serenity. Pluto carries the Garnet Orb, a talisman.
((Sailor Saturn))
Hotaru is the daughter of Prof. Souichi Tomoe, a scientist. She is a close friend of Chibi-Usa. She attacks with the Silence Glaive, and has the power to heal people. She attended school at the Infiniti Prep School, where her father taught.

Michiru Kaiou & Haruka Ten'ou
((Sailor Neptune))
Kaiou Michiru is, by far, the most talented of the senshi. She plays the violin and paints beautifully. She's engaged in a homosexual, monogamous, relationship with Haruka. Michiru-san is also among the most sophisticated of the senshi. She attends Infiniti Prep School. She has the Aqua Mirror, a talisman.
((Sailor Uranus))
Haruka-chan is involved in a monogamous, homosexual relationship with Kaiou Michiru-san (Sailor Neptune). Nothing more than hand-holding is ever shown in the anime. She's also a race-car driver, an excellent fighter, a student at the Infiniti Prep School, and a cross-dresser. She loves to tease the other girls, especially Usagi. In Sailorstars, she lives with Michiru, Setsuna, and Hotaru in a big house. In the S season, she has her own apartment. She has the Space Sword, a talisman
